Eureka NAACP to support Vigil for Josiah Lawson Sunday, October 15, 2017
The Eureka Branch of the NAACP is partnering with HSU's African American Center for Academic Excellence for the David Josiah (DJ) Lawson Vigil. Sunday, October 15th, marks six months since HSU student, Josiah Lawson, was murdered in Arcata, CA. Josiah's murder case has yet to be solved. The vigil coincides with our normally scheduled meeting time. We will have an abbreviated meeting at the location of the vigil on Sunday, October 15th at the D Street Neighborhood Center in Arcata (1301 D St., Arcata, CA 95521). We will meet from 3:30 - 4:30 and then prepare to support Josiah Lawson's friends and loved ones for at the vigil.
